Our Community Presence
1900 Conway Gardens Rd was planted as a church in this Conway Gardens community in the 1950's. It still remains a church to this day, but it now also serves as the meeting place of three additional church congregations! These four churches make up the Conway Gardens Ministry Center.
In the couple years of our ministry together, we've:
-Made huge improvements to our outdoor basketball court [thanks to contributions made from the Kiwanis Club]
-Held ongoing community basketball events on our improved court
-Remodeled the teacher's lounge at Union Park Middle School
-Donated 25+ filled backpacks to Dover Shores Elementary School
-Hosted our annual Trunk or Treat for the neighborhood, partnering alongside Z88.3 and Smith's Homemade
-Hosted booths for crafts and games at the Curry Ford West "Picture Perfect Holiday" community event
-Helped the Kiwanis Club assemble 150 donated bikes for children in the community
-Partnered with Curry Ford West to "takeover" local, small businesses; an opportunity to show our support by rallying in customers
-Created and hosted a new annual Fall Festival & Car Show for the community
-Hosted joint Christmas Eve services together
-Opened our facilities for businesses and non-profits to hold meetings
